Should the Ring Bearer be dressed like the Groom or Groomsmen?
This is completely a personal decision by the Bride and Groom. Many couples choose to match the Ring Bearer to the Groom, especially if the Flower Girl is dressed similar to the Bride. However, the general rule is that boys under six years of age should not wear a tuxedo.

In the last quarter of the 20th. century there was a need, in the formal wear industry in South Carolina, for a quality rental garment that was backed by an experienced staff to provide personalized professional service for the well-dressed man. In January of 1986, The Black Tie was established with this goal in mind. The Black Tie is a family owned and operated business and has attained this goal by hiring and training an experienced, knowledgeable staff with a combined 89 years of experience in the formal wear industry.
The Black Tie started in a 1200 square foot facility with less than 100 units to serve the Sumter market and surrounding areas. Since that time, we have grown every year. Today you will find over 5,000 units in inventory, ranging from a Boys' 3 to a Mens 68L. Not only do we carry over 40 different styles of Tuxedos, we have an extensive inventory of accessories.

The Black Tie is the only formal wear business within a 75 mile radius of Sumter to establish a complete tuxedo servicing facility. At its 6000 square foot processing center, state of the art dry-cleaning equipment and a full service alterations department provide on the scene service. A unique quality of all of The Black Ties's four South Carolina locations is the ability to do "on the spot" alterations to insure the best fit for our customers.

Absolutely! With either a Contemporary or Traditional Wedding it is very important that the shoes be the same. Patent leather shoes are the best choice and are available for purchase or rental for a nominal fee.
How could I distinguish the Groom from the rest of the Wedding Party through their choice of formalwear?
There are many popular ways to distinguish the Groom from the rest of the Wedding Party. The following is a partial list showing some examples:
The Groom may wear a tailcoat, while the Groomsmen could wear coordinating tuxedos.
The Groomsmen could wear a vest or cummerbund that is color coordinated with the Bridesmaid's gowns.
The Groom could wear a different style of vest or tie from the Groomsmen that would compliment the Bride's gown.
